Nommie is Oom’s small, red, pseudodragon familiar. Nommie appeared after Oom experienced a bout of intense emotions as a child. Oom does not know where Nommie came from nor how Nommie arrived to be with her, and worries that being her familiar has taken him from his true home. Oom is also concerned that being her familiar has caused Nommie to lose his free will – though as far as she can tell, he seems very happy to be with her.
